Topic 2016 Annual Meeting & Silver Medal Presentation

Description It is the intent of the North Carolina Chapter of the American College of Radiology to provide its members with information to help in the maintenance of their local radiology practices.  At the conclusion of this CME activity, attendees should be better able to: Understand the change from volume to value for compensation Become familiar with why and how this will occur Understand the currently available resources as well as future resources for facilitation of values  
Accreditation Details PHYSICIAN ACCREDITATION STATEMENT This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of the American College of Radiology and the North Carolina Radiological Society.  The American College of Radiology is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. CREDIT DESIGNATION STATEMENT The American College of Radiology (ACR) designates this conference for a maximum of 1.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits (TM).

Reception/Dinner During the Annual Meeting of the North Carolina Chapter of the American College of Radiology, the Silver Medal will be presented to Christopher G. Ullrich, MD, FACR. The Silver Medal Award is the highest honor of the North Carolina Chapter of the American College of Radiology and is given to honor an individual for distinguished and extraordinary service to the Chapter. Dr. Christopher G. Ullrich is a long-time leader in both state and national radiology organizations, and is the mainstay of radiology legislative and regulatory interests in North Carolina.
