Topic Nuclear Medicine & Molecular Imaging Update

Description

It is the intent of the NC Chapter of the ACR to provide practicing Radiologists and other health care professionals in Nuclear Medicine a review of current concepts, while also introducing newer concepts into current accepted practice.  This program will also offer requirements for Nuclear Medicine/PET program accreditation through the American College of Radiology.  The participating Radiologist should be able to discuss new indications that are impacting the practice of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging from a clinical perspective, and describe the latest indications and application of PET imaging and its impact on patient management.  Relevant advances and shortfalls of PET in oncology, cardiology and neurology will also be covered in these sessions.

Accreditation Details

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of the American College of Radiology and the North Carolina Radiological Society.  The American College of Radiology is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit Statement:  The American College of Radiology designates this live activity for a  maximum of 15.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits(TM).  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

SAM Credit:  Qualified by the American Board of Radiology in meeting the criteria for self-assessment toward the purpose of fulfilling requirements in the ABR Maintenance of Certification Program on December 18, 2013.

American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT): This activity is approved for 15 CME Category A Credits by the ASRT.

Reception/Dinner

A reception and dinner will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 in conjunction with the NCRS Annual Meeting.  The cost is $75.00 per person.  All meeting attendees are invited.
